good morning and happy thursday! thanks for being a (k)nots supporter - im glad you are here! i have been spending quite a bit of time lately at the ball fields, cheering on my two daughters who play softball, but still find time to create and connect with my creativity - even if just a little bit each day. wristlets are one of my best sellers and i absolutely love when someone orders a batch for a special group of people. i often get asked to make a set for a group of sisters, employees, or friends, but these teal wristlets were a special request, by an incredible woman, amy brace. this batch was made for a group of ten women (amy included) who shared their breast cancer stories in a documentary called one in eight. this documentary has an exclusive showing at stages theater in hopkins on sunday, august 10. to donate or get tickets, go to givebutter.com/oneineight.
How in the world is it already July?? It is a pretty quiet month for (k)nots out in the community, as I only have three scheduled events. I will be at Hudson Farmers Market on July 5 and Hastings Music + Market on July 10. I am also very excited to pop up with Katie White Designs at the Minneapolis Farmers Market Annex on July 12th. Katie is a dear friend who makes lovely polymer clay earrings! She has a beautiful story and I love the days I get to sling with her! Despite the slow month, a lot is going on behind the scenes. I am working on fulfilling orders for some current and some new stores, which is very exciting! More info to come on that soon!
happy friday and welcome to the weekend! a quick thank you to all of you have been following along and those of you who are new to (k)nots. you all are what keeps me going and what allows me to continue on this creative path! i have a busy next few weeks. this weekend i will be at excelsior - art on the lake and next weekend at eagan art fair. fingers crossed for good weather. these tiny waterless cacti have been in high demand the last few weeks. they are a perfect little touch to add to a dorm room for all of those recent grads! i have also been making quite a few wristlets and lanyards in college colors for grads as well. pairs perfectly with some cash for a personal touch!
Minnesota has decided to have a short spring and jump right into summer. With the heat, summer markets are underway and I have loved them all so far. I have been slinging in Eagan, Bloomington, and Minnetonka so far in Minnesota and have expanded my reach to Wisconsin this year - as I was in Hudson and Baldwin! Follow along on my website and instagram to see upcoming events and markets. So far this year, plant hangers have been a top seller for me and I couldnt love it more. I have a house FULL of plants and love when people want to add more greenery to their homes! Better air quality, better emotional health, and lower stress - its science!
